Child's Way

Child's Way Native Peruvian Cotton GOTS certified Sustainable Producer

Child's Way is a Peruvian family company dedicated to the production of children apparel while maintaining social and environmental responsibility.

The Child Way team is led by Katherine Mory Jorahua, who had the vision for the sustainable business model while working on her master's degree. Their mission is to make clothing of the highest quality, with organic Peruvian fabrics, while also providing ethical employment for vulnerable women.

Child's Way uses Naturtex textile, which is a GOTS,  Fair Trade certified company that harvests Pakucho cotton (from the Quechua Incan word for 'brown cotton'). These cottons naturally grow in these colors, so there's no dye at all.

These native, ancient heritage varieties of cotton were almost lost to industrialization, and the popularity of the quick and easy white cotton. Pan American Apparel is proud of our relation ship with Child's Way. With their help, we are directly supporting biodiversity and the amazing heritage of native cottons.
